erving as a close to Women’s History Month, U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) and former first lady of Haiti Mildred T. Aristide will visit the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History on Friday March, 31 for an event titled The Haitian Revolution: A Past Forever Present.
The pair will to discuss historical contemporary matters as they relate to African American and Haitian progress.
A reception will begin at 6 p.m., with the discussion beginning at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
