Tod’s threw its annual East Hampton dinner party, and its guest of honor, Hatian rapper Wyclef Jean, made the night the best 2022 A-list party for everyone in attendance. Testament to the musicians talent to hype it up and get everyone to groove on the dance floor, photos, and social media posts from the party shows that everyone had a great time. The rapper posted on Instagram a video of him performing the ’90s hit “No, No, No” by Destiny’s Child with one of its former member, Kelly Rowland, singing along and groving to the beat. “It seems like it was just just yesterday when I first drop this Remix with #destinyschild,” the rapper captioned the post.

After the first course, the rapper reportedly joked that he was only hired to only perform for 15 minutes. “If you want 15 minutes, you should have hired 50 Cent,” he told the crowd, as reported by The Daily Front Row. “I’ve got so many songs you’ll think you’re in a karaoke bar.” After the brief dance party, Wyclef Jean managed to convince the guests to sit back and finish dinner, but promised that the party will continue after dessert. “The energy from this event demonstrates the essence of the Tod’s lifestyle — Italian, sophistication, boldness and joy,” Roberto Lorenzini, chief executive officer of Tod’s Group Americas, said, as reported by WWD. However after dessert was served, the rapper went back on doing what he does best — giving people a good time. And the dancing was back on.
