Detroit’s Corktown has an unrivaled historic and industrial-chic appeal as well as a vibrant culinary and cultural scene. It’s home to some of the city’s best shops and restaurants — like the Black-owned restaurant Ima, owned by Chef Mike Ransom who is famous for his Japanese-influenced palate. Recently, the area has seen a new renaissance as one of the city’s prime residential, shopping and gastronomic destinations. If you’re in the market to rent a new crib, check out these apartments you can lease for less than $2,000 a month.

A Luxury Open Floor Apartment at Elton Park — Starts at $1,500

Located in the heart of downtown Detroit’s most historic Corktown District, The Elton Park Apartments in Detroit offers a collection of new luxury and loft apartments. Before the building was renovated and fitted with the new homes, the design team conducted in-depth research into the community’s original buildings, businesses, and people to let the new apartments reflect the distinct architectural language of the area. The building offers one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and loft apartments for rent starting at $1,500 and going up to $2,500. Covered parking as well as free street parking are also available.
