Wedded Bliss: Tiffany Haley, Jeff Pastva of Philadelphia

Tiffany Haley and Jeff Pastva were married on Oct. 18, 2014 at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant in Detroit.

Tiffany is head of global leadership development at The Vanguard Group, and Jeff is a project architect at JDavis Architects-both located in the Philadelphia area. The couple, now based in Philadelphia, honeymooned in Nice, France and Florence, Italy. Here, Tiffany shares the details of the wedding.

The venue

“I am a Detroit girl, so we decided to have the wedding in my hometown. We chose the Ford Piquette plant because we wanted our guests, especially those from out of town, to experience a bit of Detroit history.”

The cake

“A naked cake from Patisserie Parmentier in Novi. It had four layers: Apple spice, carrot, chocolate-chip raspberry and rum.”

The flowers

“I carried white blooms, including roses and lilies, from Pot & Box in Ann Arbor.”

Memorable moment

“We surprised our guests by asking them to join us on the dance floor after our first dance. Once they were all out on the floor, the DJ blasted Earth, Wind & Fire’s ‘Let’s Groove’-and everyone started dancing together. Since this was the first time our entire families were together, it was a beautiful sight.”
