Volunteer Training Offered to Prepare for Election Activities

Respect My Vote! Hip Hop Caucus Detroit will provide free election information to members of public

n an effort to get Detroit area voters registered and informed about this year’s presidential election, Respect My Vote! Hip Hop Caucus Detroit hosts a free volunteer training 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 9 at Blackwood Community Center, located at 16179 Meyers St., in Detroit.
Free food will be served for all participants, provided by Chef Greg Love, Dynamo Deli and Southern Style Cooking. Entertainment will be provided by DJ Lynda Carter.
This event is for all ages and is open to the community. The public is encouraged to RSVP by emailing detroit@hiphopcaucus.org.
