Ferndale business offers a new way to workout and stay motivated

July 19, 2012

orkout tapes can be a great way to get in shape – until you slam your shins into the sofa or topple over your dining room table.

But now that brothers Ryan and Earl Carruthers opened TV Fitness, a new workout spot in Ferndale, you’ve got plenty of room to flex your muscles and burn those calories. Plus, you get more motivation from working out with a group.

“It’s a great place to come if you’re looking to be pushed,” says trainer Leo Wells about the fitness center that opened this past spring. “People do workouts for a couple of days and quit. We hold you accountable.”

Get a high-impact, sweat-pouring workout with the Insanity and Turbofire programs or sculpt your body by going crazy on Insanity, P90X, doing Brazilian dance moves in the Brazil Butt Lift program or by Zumba-ing the pounds away. A TV Fitness trainer will help you find the program and group most suited to your goals and condition.

There are no contracts. It’s a simple $40 per month fee. You can take the 21-Day Challenge for only $10. Or, TV Fitness has a seven-day free pass, so you can experience why working out to video exercise tapes no longer has to be a drag.
