The Six Best Black Movies to Watch This Thanksgiving Weekend

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m just practicing for all the text messages and DMs I’m planning to send today to friends and family most of which are engaged in holiday celebrations and family dinners. But if you’re like me, and Turkey Day gets overwhelming; grab the remote, your favorite snacks, a soft pillow and comfy blanket and join me on the couch for some good streaming this weekend.

Certainly, there’s the Soul Food classic and She’s Gotta Have it, Thanksgiving scene to watch (you could also throw on Who’s Cooking?, which is 20+ years old, if cross cultural feasting is your thing).
