Zo Fine Music & Mental Health Festival is back for year five to bring music, art, food and mental health awareness panels to the Detroit community. Through music, advocacy and self-expression, the Zo Fine Music & Mental Festival creates an outlet for healthy conversations and informed healing. This weekend, Sept. 10 and Sept. 11 — the Zo Fine Festival will be held at The LIVEing Room on 286 E. Grand Blvd Detroit. It is a day-long collective of multidisciplinary and conversations focused on mental healing while honoring National Suicide Awareness Month.

This year, the festival is partnering with The Phoenix, a national nonprofit organization based out of Denver, Colorado. Opening with guided meditation and followed by a lineup of live music performances throughout the day, this festival is a much-needed mental break.
Alongside food vendors like Buddah Foods and other assorted local merchants, the center will be open a pop-up booth at the festival to provide people with resources on mental health and sobriety. They will offer extensive health and fitness programming, volunteer opportunities and referrals to other organizations offering free or subsidized therapy.
Zo Fine Festival is also partnering with The Miracles Foundation. It supports children to explore music, pursue education and adopt a healthy lifestyle. The foundation believes that these are essential to helping future generations in their fight for good mental health for years to come.
