Sulaiman & Lesleigh Mausi Hold Book Signing for ‘The Power of Us’

Sulaiman & Lesleigh Mausi and held a meet & greet book signing for their new book, ‘The Power of Us: How to Win in Marriage and Business – Passion. Pain. Truth. Faith.‘ in Detroit over the weekend at IVY Kitchen + Cocktails on East Jefferson.

Sulamiman is a 6th generation Entrepreneur, is a professional promoter and producer of quality live entertainment with over 20 years of industry experience. With his wife and partner Lesleigh, Sulaiman serves as VP of The Aretha Franklin Amphitheater (formerly Chene Park Amphitheater), the 6,000-seat open-air venue on the shores of the Detroit River. The summer concert series at The Aretha attracts over 150,000 concert attendees annually. Being on the pulse of both the southern and northern markets, Sulaiman thoughtfully curates programming that connects communities and cultures with the history and future of great music.

Lesleigh Mausi, M.Ed. is also an entrepreneur, educator and author. A 23-year career educator, Lesleigh served thousands of public school students in Detroit, MI and continues to impact youth and women across the country speaking at conferences and hosting vision board mentorship seminars.

The Mausi’s co-authored their first book titled, The Power of Us, which chronicles the couple’s pinnacles and pitfalls in marriage and business, and serves as a guide for entrepreneurial couples in their journey to success.
