Detroiters are set to enjoy an afternoon of self-care and charity through yoga and philanthropy, thanks to Remembering Cherubs‘ upcoming event, TrapYogaZen. The event will take place on April 22nd, 2023, from 3-4:30pm EST, at The Trap Yoga & Massage Studio. Participants can purchase tickets for $25 online at https://TrapYogaZen.eventbrite.com.

The event, which will be instructed by renowned yoga phenom Jamel Randall, will focus on nurturing the mind, body, and spirit of Detroiters through gentle postures, mindfulness, and spirited, rhythmic music. The 45-minute Yin yoga class will be perfect for those looking to promote well-being while giving back to the local community.

Founder of Remembering Cherubs, Monica Anderson, expressed her excitement about bringing Trap Yoga Zen to Detroit. She said, “Self-care wasn’t something that was commonly taught where I grew up. Through this event, we can give people the tools to build a solid foundation of self-care. Plus, with each ticket purchase, we will be able to create a guidebook that guides parents of pregnancy loss on self-care. What an incredible way to celebrate our 4th anniversary—it really is a win for everyone.”

Remembering Cherubs is a charitable organization that provides access to pregnancy loss-related resources and general educational information on pregnancy loss-related issues. Their self-service resource center and events primarily serve southeast Michigan. To learn more about Remembering Cherubs or get involved, please visit rememberingcherubs.org.
