‘Overcomer Family Tour’ Featuring David and Tamela Mann Hits Detroit Tonight

Detroit, join Grammy award-winning platinum recording artist Tamela Mann and her husband, NAACP Image Award-Winning Comedian David Mann, for their “Overcomer Family Tour” starring David, Tamela, son David Mann Jr., and daughters La’Tia Mann and Tiffany Mann. Tonight at the Second Ebenezer Church in Hamtramck, the Manns will bring a stellar performance highlighted with Tamela’s biggest hits and new songs from her recent release “Overcomer: Deluxe Edition” as well as a laugh out loud comedy set by David and family antics.

“We’ve created an experience for you that hits all the emotions. You laugh, you dance, you cry. There’s something in this show for everybody,” David Mann told BLAC. “Even for those of us that aren’t the churchious folks, we give them what they need. Those that love to laugh, we give them laughter, those the are coming to worship, we give them room to worship, too.”

Tamela Mann recently released her stellar sixth studio offering, “Overcomer: Deluxe Edition,” in July 2022, which includes reimagined renditions of fan favorites and all-new songs. Special guest features on the album include Yolanda Adams, Wyclef Jean, Kirk Franklin, Tim Rogers & The Fellas, and Todd Dulaney. Tamela has recently made history as the first Gospel artist who has charted nine No. 1 singles on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay.

“Raising our family in this industry has both helped us and kind of scared us because we missed out on so many things with them trying to be great providers and being on the road. It has sometimes been a great sacrifice but seeing them out on stage performing doing what they love to do feels so good to me,” Tamela Mann, mother of three, said. “Some nights during this tour, I’ve gotten really choked up because I know it’s only been through God’s grace that we’ve been able to see everything come full circle.”
