In celebration of his 20th anniversary of being signed to the legendary Motown Records, Grammy-nominated R&B superstar and Detroit’s KEM is set to release both his debut memoir and his first live album, showcasing his incredible journey and undeniable talent.

KEM’s MEMOIR

KEM’s highly anticipated debut memoir, “Share My Life: A Journey of Love, Faith, and Redemption,” published by Simon & Schuster, offers readers a raw and intimate look into the singer’s life. From his early days growing up in a troubled household, where his mother grappled with alcoholism, and his strained relationship with his father, KEM’s personal struggles led him down a dark path of substance abuse and homelessness. But amidst the chaos, he found solace in music and honed his craft, ultimately leading to the creation of his groundbreaking debut album, “Kemistry.”

Released on April 4, 2023, “Share My Life” is available in hardcover, e-book, and audiobook formats at various retailers such as MUSICBYKEM.com, Simon & Schuster, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Book Shop, and IndieBound.

KEM’s LIVE ALBUM

Commemorating his two decades with Motown Records, KEM’s first live album, “Anniversary – The Live Album,” is set for release on April 7, 2023. Recorded in the fall of 2022 at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre in Detroit, the album highlights KEM’s captivating vocals and musical mastery. Featuring powerful renditions of his No. 1 hits like “Love Calls,” “I Can’t Stop Loving You,” “Why Would You Stay,” “Nobody,” “Lie To Me,” and “Stuck On You,” fans can pre-save “Anniversary – The Live Album” now.

As KEM releases his live album, he and Grammy-winning artist Ledisi continue to delight audiences with their co-headlining “Soul II Soul Tour.” The tour, which began on February 3, 2023, at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina, showcases the incredible talents of these R&B powerhouses.

KEM’s story is a testament to the power of resilience, love, and faith. As he puts it, “My story is a tale soaked in the blues. My blues…connect to my mother’s blues, and to her mother’s blues. Those connections are rhythmic. That rhythm is deep and historical…a rhythm without end.”

Don’t miss out on this remarkable artist’s journey, as KEM continues to impact the world with his soulful, heartfelt music and inspiring story.
