The days of spreading false information about Janet Jackson are over.

Vanity Fair is the latest to catch a slap in the mouth for lying on Ms. Jackson. Seems they picked and printed some excerpts from Randall Sullivan’s upcoming book, “Untouchable: The Strange Life and Tragic Death of Michael Jackson.”

In a nut shell, what was printed is that Janet delayed the funeral of Michael Jackson. Supposedly, she put down a $40,000 deposit to secure a burial plot for Michael Jackson but refused to let the funeral take place until that money was repaid. Crazy, right?

This is the same woman that is seen in picture after picture with $20,000 handbags. Trust Janet Jackson wouldn’t hold up her brother’s funeral over $40,000. Ms Jackson’s attorney says this is not true. “Ms. Jackson never delayed the funeral in anyway. In fact, she paid for the funeral and was reimbursed for some of those expenses by Michael Jackson’s estate in the year after the services took place.”

Go Cassie, it’s your birthday! Who says good things don’t come to those who wait?

Sean “P. Diddy” Combs-or whatever he is going by this month-is finally going to put a ring on it. Long time side piece Cassie Ventura will soon be able to “publically” claim him as her fiancé.

Misa Hylton, mother of Diddy’s son, Justin, says, “I like Cassie for him. She’s talented, she’s beautiful and she’s really nice to him and to my son.”

I wonder if Kim Porter will have anything nice to say. I seriously doubt it, as she thought for sure she was going to be Mrs. Combs. Well, as a consolation prize, I’m sure Cassie will be as nice to her twins, Diddy’s daughters, as she is to his son. LOL!

Black Girls Rock 2012

This year’s honorees include Kerry Washington, Alicia Keys and Dionne Warwick. The show is set to tape October 13th in New York. It will air at 8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4 on BET.

Because they did such a knockout job last year, Tracee Ellis Ross and Regina King are returning to co-host this year’s event. Brandy, Ciara, Keyshia Cole and India Arie will perform in tribute to the women of color. Yeah, Black Girls Rock!
