Detroit has some great hidden gems! Here are five “hidden” nightlife destinations in the Motor City sure to deliver the vibe you didn’t know you were look for!

1. Evening Bar
The Evening Bar is a cozy and relaxed bar located in the alley behind the Shinola Hotel. The space offers an intimate experience for you and your guests. The soothing lighting, enticing music, tasty food, craft cocktails and comfortable seating draws you back time after time.

This hidden gem is reservations and call aheads only because the door is locked at all times. Located in an alley between Griswold and Woodward. Sneaking down the alley way you will see a red neon sign and a snake on the door calling you to come inside. The only way to get access is by calling at the time of your reservation for admittance. When you enter you will transcend into this dimly lit, and perfectly laid out atmosphere. Filled with amazing craft cocktails that are set on fire, filled with dry ice, covered with unique garnishes.

This is your insta photo dream bar. With its sweet and sassy vibes and plushy, velvety seats and booths, this hidden away bar transports you to another world. Located on the first floor in the back of the Siren Hotel behind a heavy velvet curtain. This is the perfect spot for a hot date or a girls night out. The chandelier is breathtaking and once you’ve found this gem, you’ll never want to leave.

The Detroit Club is one of the nation’s oldest private clubs. It is known as a rendezvous point for the high society that lives in and around Detroit.
