East Meets West Wholistic Health Fair Highlights Different Treatment Options

This monthly event features health consultations, holistic products and more to help metro Detroiters lead a healthier lifestyle

very first Saturday, Dr. Keefa Lorraine Weatherspoon's SanKofa Life Campus will be transformed into Detroit's oasis for holistic health.
The East Meets West Wholistic Health Fair offers a taste of holistic products-such as the Water Stations popular pH balanced ionized water-health consultation services and treatments that are ripe for the sampling by metro Detroiters who want to take steps toward a healthier lifestyle, or try something different.
"The responsibility of individual's health is returning to the individual," says Weatherspoon, 61, nutritionist and holistic health advocate for 35 years.
More importantly, says Weatherspoon, Wholistic Health Fair visitors get an experience. "They get to try everything for themselves."
Services featured at this month's health fair include reflexology, massage therapy, ear candling, Tapology, foot detoxes and iridology with various informative books and pamphlets on how to live a holistic life.
SanKofa Life Campus is located at 18734 Woodward Ave. in Detroit. The campus includes The Water Station, Healthy Soul Natural Foods Store, SanKofa LIFE Center and SanKofa House.
The East Meets West Wholistic Health Fair is free and open to the public and runs every first Saturday until October 5, 2013.
