October is the beginning of Halloween season, and while some will wait until the very last minute to decide on costumes, these Detroit-area makeup artists are booking early for their special-effects makeup client applications. We don’t know about you, but this halloween, we’re more ready than ever to take our excessive, spooky make-up to the next level. From bejewelled eyelids and cat-eye flicks, to exposed fangs and sliced-open throats, BLAC reached out to our favorite makeup artists around the city to have them create over-the-top looks that will energize your Halloween spirits. Whether it’s intricately painted skeleton make-up, hyper real blood and guts or a more conceptual take on the classic scary clown make-up, these Detroit make-up artists have got all your Halloween beauty creativity in one place. Now all you need is a next level Halloween hairstyle and you’ve got your All Hallows’ Eve beauty look sorted.

Grab your brushes, ghouls and gals… it’s about to get spooky.

While we couldn’t find a name per se for this make up artist, they go by @tazzplayhouse on Instagram and seems to go wild with creativity during halloween. We especially love the usage of props in the photos. It makes the makeup come alive.
