Detroit Health Department to Offer HIV Information, Testing

The Detroit Department of Health and Wellness Promotion’s HIV/AIDS Programs will observe National HIV Testing Day on Wednesday, June 27, with a day of information and testing.
The event will be at their offices located at 1151 Taylor, in Detroit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A rally will be held also, with entertainment, free food, massages, haircuts and raffles, in addition to free Syphilis and HIV tests.
The DHWP Early Intervention Program (EIP) Mobile Unit also will provide HIV testing at the Walgreens at 5331 E. Jefferson on Wednesday, June 27 through Friday, June 29 from 3 to 7 p.m.
