This week has been exhausting for all of us, especially those of us that consider ourselves strong black women. But let’s put that myth to rest, for some that’s simply not always true, consequently, strong Black women disproportionately experience anxiety and depression from being strong. This weekend we want you to take care of your emotional and physical health which can increase concentration and memory and allow for a healthier immune system, reduced stress, improved mood and sexual experiences.
We’ve actually created the remedy for exhaustion; one part ‘Nice and Smooth’ playlist over the second part; a specialty blend of Black-owned cocktails from our BLAC Happy Hour menu and the third part, while reading about what strong Black women are doing in the world.
