From business to wellness, the Be Well Fabulous Black Woman Tour aims to empower every part of the black woman’s life from a multi-generational focus. Facilitated by Black Women About Business – an org supporting black female entrepreneurs and leaders – this three-city tour provides business planning, executive training and wellness support.

At the Detroit stop on May 14, 2019 at the Fairlane Club in Dearborn, choose from breakout sessions, workshops, fitness classes and pampering, all while enjoying a live DJ, giveaways and tasty treats.

“I really wanted to make sure we spent time to help women figure out what their action is going to be and give them some tools to be accountable in that space,” says founder Demarra Gardner.

Celebrity financial expert Dr. Lynn Richardson, the “Vibrant Life Architect” Dr. Geneva J. Williams, certified plant-based nutritionist Lisa A. Smith and Afrobeat Fit guru Kemi Omisore will lead the day’s workshop breaks.

The tour dates, including a stop in Grand Rapids on June 4, are the precursor to a four-day retreat at Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Acme, themed “Taking Care of You, Taking Care of Business.”

Gardner says, “I want women to feel like from the moment they show up to the moment they leave – and well after – that they have (been given) action to apply.”
