The Story

Cheyenne Woods won more than 30 amateur titles and the 2011 ACC individual championship at Wake Forest before turning professional in 2012. In February 2014 she won the Volvik RACV Ladies Masters on the Ladies European Tour by two strokes and went on to become the sixth African American woman to play the LPGA Tour. First coached by her grandfather Earl Woods — Tiger Woods is her uncle — she has since moved into golf media, working Golf Channel and NBC Sports broadcasts.
