Billy Strawter Jr. is the publisher of BLAC, leading the next chapter of a media brand that has been telling Black stories for more than 25 years.
A strategist, marketer and storyteller, Billy has spent his career building brands, solving problems and finding better ways to connect people and ideas. At BLAC, that means honoring what came before while building what comes next—an independent, digital-first media company covering Black life, arts, & culture.
He still writes, still asks too many questions and believes the best stories usually start with curiosity.
