The Business

Tamra Eddy was raised by a barbecue master, a professional baker and a restaurant owner. She inherited a raggedy old Betty Crocker cookbook upon her grandmother’s passing, and that was the moment she knew she too would open a restaurant. Chef Tam’s Underground Cafe specializes in one-of-a-kind Cajun and soul food fusion and is now open in the Edge District. Favorites include the fried chicken, muddy mac-n-cheese, and peach cobbler nachos, though Chef Tam is always knocking out fun daily specials.
