The flavor is balanced and complemented by the sweetness of the whiskey and simple syrup, so it’s not too tart. A Whiskey Sour Cocktail Recipe
Equipment
- 1 Shaker
- 1 Strainer
- 1 Juicer
- 1 Rocks Single Cocktail Glass
Ingredients
- 2 Ounces Bourbon
- 3/4 Ounce Fresh Lemon Juice
- 3/4 Ounce Simple syrup
- 1/2 Wheel Orange (for garnish)
- 1 Maraschino cherry (for serving)
Instructions
- Combine bourbon, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker.
- Fill shaker with ice, cover, and shake vigorously until outside of shaker is very cold, about 20 seconds.
- Strain cocktail through a strainer into an old-fashioned or rocks glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with orange wheel and cherry.
