If your Halloween costume took more work than one night deserves, Paradise HTX plans to put cash behind the effort. Its Paradise After Dark contest offers $1,000 across four categories during Halloween weekend.
The top award is $500 for Best Overall Costume. Best Couple or Duo carries a $250 prize, Sexiest Costume pays $150, and Most Creative or Funniest Costume rounds out the contest at $100.
The bar is also giving the weekend its own menu. The announced drinks include a Black Magic Espresso Martini, Witches’ Brew Margarita, Haunted Caramel Apple Mule, Poison Peach Potion, Vampire’s Kiss Spritz, Spiced Pumpkin Cauldron and Graveyard Old Fashioned. A Ghostly Lavender Lemonade offers a zero-proof option.
The release did not include the exact event dates, starting times or costume check-in rules. Those are the details to confirm before getting dressed and heading downtown.
Paradise HTX is located at 809 Pierce St. Check the official Paradise HTX website for the final schedule and organizer updates.
