Hey Fam It’s Cooking with Que for BLAC Detroit Magazine and this week we have a classic mexican dish called a Tostada.  The recipe is super easy ..like literally the easiest….and as I always say… these recipes are living and can be adjusted to your liking.  Great for a Taco Tuesday or any day you have a strong craving for mexican food!  This tostada recipe is straight fire!

I can’t wait for you all to try this one. The Yumminess is at an All Time High!!!  LOL 🙂

The Easiest Tostada Recipe Ever

Ingredients

  • 6 count Tostadas
  • 1 cup Cooked black beans (1 no salt added can)
  • 1 cup Sweet corn
  • 1/4 cup Diced red onions
  • 1/4 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Chorizo (vegan trader joes is amazing)
  • 1 cup Cheese ( any dairy free will do)
  • 1 jar Avocado Salsa or Salsa (whatever floats your boat)
  • 1 bundle Cilantro

Instructions

  1. 1

    On a baking Sheet place 3 tostada shells down

  2. 2

    On top of the 3 tostada shells spread a layer of black beans, 2 tablespoons

  3. 3

    Top the black beans with another tostada

  4. 4

    Top the second tostada with Chorizo

  5. 5

    Add corn and then tomatoes

  6. 6

    Top with cheese

  7. 7

    Bake in the oven for 7-8 minutes

  8. 8

    Take out of the oven and top them with avocado salsa and fresh cilantro

  9. 9

    Plate and enjoy
