Ocean 12, a new fine dining seafood and steakhouse in the Montrose/River Oaks area of Houston, opened during the Labor Day weekend with no shortage of H-Town celebrities. Notable celebs like legendary rapper Bun B, actress and model Jayda Cheaves, and Dreka Gates, wife and manager of rapper Kevin Gates, celebrated her birthday in style at Ocean 12.
Other A-list attendees included radio personality Hardbody Kiotti, and Derrick James, the award-winning boxing trainer and multi-world title-holding coach.
A New Culinary Era
Located at 1212 Waugh Drive, Ocean 12 opened its doors on September 1, 2023, introducing a fresh, upscale culinary scene in Houston. Guests enjoyed chef Erick Anaya’s signature dishes, such as Baked Oysters, Blackened Atlantic Salmon, Miso Glazed Sea Bass, Lobster Tails, and prime steaks, accompanied by delicacies like Poached King Crab and Caviar Beurre Blanc.
To enhance the cosmopolitan dining experience, the menu includes fine wines and beverages, orchestrated by enophile Patrick Smith, a Court of Master Sommeliers American Chapter member.
