Unique Treats
Jaybear Bakery is a unique cake shop that combines familiar flavors with new ideas. The owners are inspired by the familiar (family recipes passed down) and the unfamiliar (ideas from trips to other locales). This combination creates unique flavor combinations like “Ooey Gooeys,” a chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting or Sweet Potato Pie, which is a carrot cake with sweet potato filling and pecan praline topping.
Jaybear also offers red velvet cupcakes as well as Triple Strawberry Cupcakes–which are three layers of strawberry cake filled with cream cheese frosting between each layer–and topped off with fresh strawberries!

Jaybear Bakery was founded on the principle that everyone is your neighbor, and you should love your neighbor. This philosophy is reflected in every business interaction at Jaybear Bakery. Their goal it to provide exceptional customer service every time with no excuses, by aspiring to reflecting Christ’s love through actions.
Future Goals
Jaybear Bakery is a black-owned bakery that has been making delicious cakes, cupcakes and other baked goods since 2012. The owners hope to expand their business model by franchising their concept to restaurants or other bakeries in Memphis, Nashville and across Tennessee.
