While pumpkin spice has been pop culture’s fall flavor, apple cider is still one of the all-time favorite beverages of the season. Michigan Apples are in season and harvested beautifully in the fall, so did the drink became plentiful and cheaper during fall. While many recipes with the amber liquid are typically boozy treats, BLAC has prepared three non-alcoholic apple cider drink recipes you try out at home and share with the entire family.

Mulled Cider Punch

Spice up your regular apple cider with iconic fall spices — cinnamon, allspice, and cloves.

  • 1 saucepan
  • 1 punch bowl
  • 1 pitcher

Ingredients
  

  • cup sugar to taste
  • 2 pcs cinnamon sticks
  • 2 pcs whole cloves
  • 1 pc whole allspice berry
  • 1 bottle apple cider
  • 1 can orange juice concentrate
  • 1 liter ginger ale
  • 1 pc orange sliced

Instructions
 

  • Place sugar, cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice, apple cider, and sliced orange pieces in a saucepan; cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
    2 pcs cinnamon sticks, 2 pcs whole cloves, 1 pc whole allspice berry, 1 bottle apple cider, 1 pc orange, ⅔ cup sugar
  • Remove from heat; stir in the orange juice concentrate until combined.
    1 can orange juice concentrate
  • Strain the mixture into a large pitcher. Let it cool and refrigerate, covered, until cold.
  • To serve, pour the cider mixture into a punch bowl. Stir in ginger ale slowly to keep the fizz. If desired, garnish with orange slices.
    1 liter ginger ale
  • If you like to keep as much of the ginger ale fizz, you may alternatively serve the mulled cider into glasses, over ice; layer the ginger ale on top; and garnish with orange slices.

Ingredients
  

  • cups apple cider
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pc cinnamon stick
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 3 cups orange juice
  • 3 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1 tsp whole cloves
  • 1 pc orange cut to wedges
  • apple slices

Instructions
 

  • In a large saucepan, add the cider, sugar, cinnamon stick, and nutmeg. Bring the mixture to boiling temperature and reduce the heat. Simmer for 20 minutes.
    3½ cups apple cider, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 pc cinnamon stick, ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • Add the orange and pineapple juices.
    3 cups orange juice, 3 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
  • Insert the cloves into the orange wedges and add them to the saucepan. Heat for 3 minutes
    1 tsp whole cloves, 1 pc orange
  • Take out the cinnamon stick. Serve warm. Garnish with apple slices

Ingredients

  • 9 cups apple cider
  • 1⅓ cups orange juice
  • ¾ cup lemon juice
  • 1 liter ginger ale
  • 2 pcs apples (sliced)
  • 1 pc orange (sliced)
  • 3 pcs cinnamon sticks
  • ice
  • ⅔ cup sugar (to taste)
  • 2 pcs cinnamon sticks
  • 2 pcs whole cloves
  • 1 pc whole allspice berry
  • 1 bottle apple cider
  • 1 can orange juice concentrate
  • 1 liter ginger ale
  • 1 pc orange (sliced)
  • 3½ cups apple cider
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pc cinnamon stick
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • 3 cups orange juice
  • 3 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1 tsp whole cloves
  • 1 pc orange (cut to wedges)

    Add the cinnamon sticks, orange segments, and apple slices. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour.

    Add ginger ale when ready to serve, then pour over ice-filled glasses.
