This lovely pair was married on Aug. 16, 2014 at Laurel Manor Banquet and Conference Center in Livonia.

Yvette is a loan service collection specialist for Wells Fargo Dealer Services in Southfield. Kevin is a power service operator for Faurecia auto parts supplier in Saline. The pair lives in Southfield and spent their honeymoon in Chicago. Here, Yvette shares details from their wedding.

The venue

"Laurel Manor was more than fantastic. I couldn't have been more satisfied with everything."

The flowers

"From Viviano Flower Shop in St. Clair Shores. They put diamonds in my bouquet and sprayed it so it sparkled. The flowers were so fresh, they looked fake!"

The cake

"It was cherry chip, chocolate and white cake with white frosting from Cakes by Stephanie in Monroe. It fit us … nice and simple with a little bit of pizazz."

The rings

"We got them from Elias Diamonds & Repairs Inc. in Troy. His ring was actually designed for someone else. At first I thought my ring was too expensive, so I didn't get it, but Kevin went back and surprised me with it during my lunch."

The dress

"It was strapless with beading and a dark ivory color from David's Bridal in Novi. It's not the dress I originally chose. They ordered the wrong size so I ended up with this one. I actually liked this one more."
