BLAC® Memphis Artist of the Week: Ebony Bradley-Boyd, an All-Around Artist

January 7, 2022·By BLAC Editorial

January 7, 2022

Ebony Bradley-Boyd is a self-taught abstract artist and classically trained soprano. Not only has Ebony taught choral music, but also shared her artistic skills at The Children’s Museum of Memphis. After discovering she was adept with a brush, she transferred her talents to painting furniture and then the canvas.

Her art style is vibrant and whimsical, incorporating her musical background into each painting. Her love of jazz bleeds out onto the canvas and is encapsulated in one animated piece of work. She paints with no restrictions and leaves behind paintings that are truly inspiring. Ebony’s mission is to ensure each piece is created with a musical composition in mind.
