EUMELANIN (pronounced you-mel-a-nin) is a fashion brand that features the chemical structure of melanin in its designs and draws inspiration from the diversity and richness of color among black and brown skin tones. The name of the company stems from Eumelanin - the most abundant type of human melanin found in black and brown skin and hair. EUMELANIN’s mission is to address issues of colorism in our communities, and to celebrate and empower people of color around the world. Through their work, and emphasis on science, self-love, and style, EUMELANIN seeks to redefine what it means to be beautiful in every shade.
