As a new travel agent, Elie founded her brand in 2016 as a result of garnering her degree in hospitality management; while gaining necessary experience in merchandising and gaining wholesale resources; both attributes that has helped to sustain her enterprise. “As an independent travel agency, I can essentially be a connoisseur, an agent or an advisor. Almost all three of these titles work the same way, they each have specialities in certain aspects of travel. My specialty is luxury-budgeted travel solutions,” says Elie.

The Detroit Travel Company also sells fabulous travel merchandising including colored passport covers and embroidered luggage but its main service is providing its clients with the best experiences. “Because I wanted my business to survive, I had to look at other streams of income. So I first started with merchandising which is a big part of my experience. I made passport covers and then started to make travel-themed tee shirts. My future will always be about servicing my clients with itineraries with affordable luxury travel,” says Elie. “Creating trips and travel deals while pushing more marketing and advertising.
