A new comedy festival featuring more than 75 comedians, five venues and three days of laugh-packed performances took place in downtown Traverse City February 2-4, 2023.

A new comedy festival featuring more than 75 comedians, five venues and three days of laugh-packed performances took place in downtown Traverse City February 2-4, 2023.
Hosted by the Downtown Traverse City Association (DTCA), the Traverse City Comedy Fest featured a mix of stand-up performances, improv and specialty shows. The Fest featured national headliners including Tom Papa, Maria Bamford, Dean Edwards, Ismo and Jackie Kashian alongside local and state favorites in over 20 shows over the three-day festival. Over 50% of the comics participating in the Fest represented diverse communities and age ranges. Thousands of fans descended on Traverse City over the three day period. Nearly all shows were sold out and most ended with standing ovations for the performers!
