Peek Behind the World of Luxury at “Hermès in the Making”

Walking into the “Hermès in the Making” exhibit felt like walking into another world filled with the finest champagne, wine and people to match.

From now until June 15th, 2022 the Somerset Collection in Troy, Michigan is featuring “Hermès in the Making” inside of the new Hermès boutique. The exhibition invites the public to get an inside look at how the artisans’ creative craftsmanship creates the designs we love so much.

Throughout the showcase, there is a range of interactive games, activities and installations that cater to all five senses. Screen printers created exclusive and timeless designs on fabric. Show goers can see jewelry designers setting diamonds into gold, or watchmakers making a watch go tick-tock, or a purse maker restoring the leather on a handbag.

Guests are also able to watch the film “Footsteps across the World” by filmmaker Frédéric Laffont, which expresses Hermès’ unique footprint in sustainable development.

This event is perfect for the whole family, a girls’ night or a date night. Experience Hermès’ in a new way today. Troy is the 3rd stop in the  “Hermès in the Making”, a traveling exhibition that will next be held in Singapore in September 2022, Austin, Texas in October 2022, and Kyoto, Japan in November 2022.
