Basketball giants, Michael Jordan and Brad Daugherty, are taking their rivalry from the court to the asphalt. They’re the only African-American team owners to have ever qualified for the playoffs in the history of stock car racing.
Hook, Line, and Sinker
Brad Daugherty’s team, JTG Daugherty Racing, sped into the 2023 postseason after driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. clinched the opening race win of the season. Jordan’s team, 23XI Racing, also turned heads by moving into the playoffs with both of its drivers, Tyler Reddick and Bubba Wallace.
The Power Behind the Performance
Having over 15 years of experience in NASCAR, Brad Daugherty is no stranger to the sport. In contrast, Michael Jordan, who teamed up with current driver Denny Hamlin, is making commendable waves despite being relatively new.
